Robin Galloway

Robin Galloway

Owner, Head of School & Lilac Community Lead Guide

Robin is the Owner and Head of School at Smithville Montessori Academy and serves as the Lead Guide in the Lilac Community. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Robin is Montessori certified in Infant and Toddler (ages 0–3) through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS) and holds an American Montessori Society (AMS) Early Childhood credential (ages 3–6). With a vision for providing authentic Montessori education to children and families, Robin has dedicated her career to building a school community rooted in respect, independence, and a love of learning. She is passionate about mentoring educators, partnering with families, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their fullest potential in a carefully prepared Montessori environment.

Kassidy DiDonato

Assistant Head of School & Director of Early Childhood Education (3–6)

Kassidy serves as the Assistant Head of School and Director of Early Childhood Education. She is a trained and certified Montessori guide through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC) and Montessori Educational Programs International (MEPI). She also holds a certification in the Foundations of Montessori Philosophy and Educational Theory for Early Childhood. With more than 10 years of Montessori classroom experience, Ms. Kassidy is dedicated to fostering authentic Montessori practices, mentoring educators, and creating nurturing learning environments where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Lauren Ackerman

Assistant Head of School & Director of Early Childhood Education (3–6)

Lauren serves as the Assistant Head of School and Director of Early Childhood Education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and is Montessori certified in Early Childhood through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS). With more than ten years of Montessori classroom experience, Lauren is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, child-centered learning environment while supporting both students and educators through the authentic implementation of Montessori principles. Her passion for Montessori education is reflected in her commitment to cultivating independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.

A'lexus Orr

Daisy Community Lead Guide & Parent Liaison

A’lexus is the Lead Guide in the Daisy Community, where she inspires children to become confident, curious, and capable learners. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Sociology, and her background in social work provides a strong foundation for supporting each child’s academic, emotional, and social development. With more than three years of Montessori teaching experience, A’lexus thoughtfully guides students as they build independence, responsibility, and a genuine love of learning. She is currently completing her Lower Elementary Montessori certification (ages 6–9) through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS), further strengthening her commitment to authentic Montessori education and continuous professional growth.

Ms. Madi

Violet Community Lead Guide & Social Media Coordinator

Madi is the Lead Guide in the Violet Community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management and is Montessori certified in Infant and Toddler (ages 0–3) through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS). With more than five years of classroom experience, Madi combines strong organizational and leadership skills with a genuine passion for early childhood education. She believes the first three years of life provide the foundation for lifelong learning and is dedicated to creating a calm, engaging environment where infants and toddlers feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Through meaningful relationships and thoughtful guidance, Madi supports each child’s development while partnering closely with families during these important early years.
