Ms. Margaret
Lead Posy Community Guide
Ms. Margaret is the lead guide in the Posy Community (Infant Community). Ms. Maragret has a Bachelor’s in elementary education an endorsement in special education, and is a registered behavior technician. Margaret is currently enrolled in the 0-3 infant/toddler accredited training program through the Center for Montessori Guided Studies.
Ms. Colleen
Posy Community Guide
Ms. Colleen is an assistant guide in the Posy Community (Infant Community). Ms. Colleen has over 9 years of experience working with children. She has been with SMAll for over 3 years.
Ms. Kayla
Posy Community Guide
Ms. Kayla is a lead guide in the Posy Community (Infant Community). Ms. Kayla graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2022 and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is in her first year at SMAll and joined our infant community as it grew. Ms. Kayla has 3 years of experience working with children. She is currently enrolled in The Center for Guided Montessori Studies for infants and toddlers.
Ms. Morgan
Posy Community Guide
Ms. Morgan is an assistant guide in the Posy Community (Infant Community). Ms. Morgan is in her first year at SMAll and joined our infant community as it grew. She joined SMAll with over 5 years of experience working with children.
Ms. Robin
Owner & Lead Lilac Community Guide
Ms. Robin is the Owner and Head of School at Smithville Montessori Academy ll. Robin holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Missouri and is currently a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Robin holds an accredited certificate as a 0-3 infant/toddler teacher through the Center for Guided Montessori Studies and also holds a certificate in Montessori Early Childhood for ages 3-6 with the American Montessori Society (AMS). Robin is the lead guide in the toddler Lilac Community. Robin loves working with the community of children and families at Smithville Montessori Academy Inc. II and is surrounded by a wonderful team of teachers.
Ms. Amber
Lilac Community Guide
Ms. Amber is a guide in the Lilac Community (Toddler Community). Ms. Amber is certified through the North American Montessori Center and has over 5 years of experience in a Montessori Classroom.
Ms. Hailey
Lilac Community Guide
Coming soon.Ms. Hailey is an assistant guide in the Lilac Community (Toddler Community). Ms. Hailey is in her second year at SMAll and joined our toddler community. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA). She joins us with over 6 years of experience working with children.
Ms. Madi
Lead Violet Community Guide
Ms. Madi is the lead guide in the Posy Community (Nido/Infant Community). Ms. Madi holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management and is currently in training through The Center for Guided Montessori Studies for Infant/Toddler. Ms. Madi also has over 3 years of experience in a classroom setting.
Ms. Nicole
Violet Community Guide
Ms. Nicole is a guide in the Posy Community (Nido/Infant Community). Ms. Nicole also holds the certificate for Foundations of Montessori Philosophy and Educational Theory for Early Childhood. Ms. Nicole has over 3 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.
Ms. A’lexus
Marigold Community Guide
Ms. A’lexus is a guide in the Marigold Community (Early Childhood 3-6). Ms. A’lexus holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in sociology. She also has a background in Social Work and has over 2 years of experience in a Montessori classroom. Ms. A’lexus is also currently enrolled in the elementary training for lower elementary through the Center for Montessori Guided Studies and will be the lead guide in the new elementary Daisy community coming Fall 2025.
Ms. Lauren
Lead Marigold Community Guide
Ms. Lauren is an Assistant Head of School and the lead guide in the Marigold Community (Early Childhood 3-6). She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and is currently in training with The Center for Guided Montessori Studies for Early Childhood. She also has over 8 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.
Ms. Tricia
Iris Community Guide
Ms. Tricia is a guide in the Iris Community (Early Childhood 3-6). Ms. Tricia is certified through the North American Montessori Center for ages 3-6 and has 21 years of experience as a teacher, and Head of School in the state of Louisiana.
Ms. Kassidy
Lead Iris Community Guide
Ms. Kassidy is an Assistant Head of School as well as the lead guide in the Iris Community (Early Childhood 3-6). Ms. Kassidy is a trained, certified guide through the North American Montessori Center, and also through Montessori Educational Programs International. She also holds a certification in the Foundations of Montessori Philosophy & Educational Theory for Early Childhood. Ms. Kassidy has over 8 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.
